I have often seen images of Guanyin on a qilin (many antiques are available from online sellers), but I have never heard a story connecting her to them, as with (for example) the dragon. I'll have to do some more research and see if I can come up with one!
Are there stories attached to the qilin? I think of Guanyin with a dragon and with a parrot but I never saw that qilin before — it’s a cool beast!
