BONUS: The Wisdom of the Arhats

What can we learn from these folk figures?

I have often written of the group of figures known as the "Eighteen Arhats." You can "meet" them in Episodes 57 and 58.

They're most often found in the main Buddha Hall, ranged nine on a side, in an attitude of listening to the Hall's main figure. This is consonant with their roles as sravakas or "hearers."
